Emma Holland is from Weimar, Texas and attended Weimar High School. Her team won a softball State Championship in her freshman year of high school. She was named Gatorade player of the game.
Emma went on to continue her softball career at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana where she was a four year starter at second base. She normally batted two hole and led the Southland Conference in sacrifice bunts in her first year. Nicholls State was named Southland Conference Champions in her freshman season of college, and was runner up in her sophomore year.
Emma graduated Nicholls State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Pre-Physical Therapy. She is now working on getting her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University here in Houston.
